What’s in the box?
This episode kicks off our Stars Without Number series. Andrew is GMing this time, with Chris, Gino, and myself playing spacefarer types. In case you aren’t aware Stars Without Number, is sort of an old school style game in a sci fi setting. I’m a big fan of games like this, because they leave a lot of room for the players and also are pretty challenging and sometimes deadly.
I hope you enjoy Gino’s character art and title card illustrations – he hasn’t had a chance yet to make one for this episode but I expect I will be updating with one shortly. If you dig his art, he also has a long running webcomic up at pizzapranks.com and a patreon for his art at patreon.com/kiwimonsta.
I know I mention this every episode but I am still working on our Lamentations of the Flame Princess series. If you like old school style games like Stars Without Number, it is exactly as old school as I prefer.
Off the Ye Ye Mix by Feral House the opener was Paladium the Hip by Liz Brady. There’s a great book that accompanies that mix that you should track down if you have a chance.

Andrew and I have another podcast, a monthly show called the GoldenAgeHorror.com podcast, which is an exciting look at horror movies from before 1979. This last month we reviewed the awesome Japanese horror movie House, as part of our series on foreign horror films. Our episode for July is Nosferatu the Vampyre, which is a great one. Our upcoming episode, for August, will be Godzilla.
